Sauna and ocean swims
In our newly renovated sauna, you'll always stay warm regardless of the weather. Combine your sauna experience perfectly with a refreshing dip in the sea from our own jetty.
During a sauna session, you have time to relax and unwind. In addition to relaxation and as an important ritual in some cultures, saunas are also beneficial for the body. Sauna bathing contributes to overall health by, among other things, strengthening the immune system, reducing muscle ache, and increasing blood flow.
Sauna - Ritual
Follow these steps for a fantastic sauna experience:
- For the best results, always start your sauna session by cleansing your body from impurities (of course, we have a shower adjacent to our sauna at J).
- Check that the sauna temperature is comfortable; add water to the heater if you want it hotter. Then, just relax and enjoy as the heat cleanses body and soul.
- Cool off occasionally. Here at J, you can walk straight out of the sauna, onto the jetty, and into the sea for a refreshing swim. If you're not a fan of swimming, the shower works just as well.
- When you feel ready, it's important to rehydrate, rest, and let your body recover.
Please note that the sauna cannot be booked and is a mixed sauna for both men and women.
